Tickets must be purchased in advance. To ensure you get the day, time and number of tickets you want, please book well in advance. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 609 527 3131.

No.  If you do not have access to a printer, simply bring the Ticket email on your phone or write down important information about your tour and bring it with you to the meeting location.

Our tours have no age restrictions. Tickets are required for all tour guests over the age of 12 months.  Infants under the age of 12 months will not be participating in the tastings and will not have a seat.  As a parent, you will be able to best assess your child’s interest level for a 3 hour food and cultural walking tour. Well-behaved children are always welcome. Strollers can be challenging on some of the uneven narrow sidewalks. Please note : Strollers are not permitted in most tasting locations and must be left outside.

The tour is set at a casual pace and covers a total of approximately 1.5 miles. We will be seated at some of our tastings, but tour guests will be standing or walking for a good part of the tour. Note there are some steps to be navigated on the tour.

Cape May Food Tours makes 6 stops and serves a variety of foods which are enough for a satisfying lunch for most appetites.  There is a set tasting at each location.  Accommodations for food allergies can be made through ticket purchases on this website  or Gift Certificate Redemptions.

All tour guests will receive a bottle of water on the tour.

Tours are held rain, snow or sunshine. Please check for weather conditions when deciding what to wear for the tour. Umbrellas and rain gear are strongly suggested if there is a threat of rain.  We will be able to go inside most of our tasting locations but we will be outside for some stretches of time.

Casual, comfortable attire is suggested. Footwear should be suitable for a 1.5 mile walk. Tours run rain or shine. Please check weather conditions on the day of the tour to dress accordingly. Rain gear and umbrellas are strongly recommended if there is a threat of rain.

If you are here on vacation, the best time to take the tour is near the beginning of your stay. You’ll discover restaurants, eateries and shops you will, most likely, want to revisit.

Our tastings do include meat, seafood, poultry and dairy, however, we will do our best to provide you with a vegetarian alternative when possible at our tasting location. Please let us know when you purchase your tickets that you are requesting a vegetarian alternative. Accommodations cannot be made at the time of the tour.

Please let us know of any serious food allergies or medically necessary dietary restrictions when you purchase your tickets. We will contact our tasting locations and do our very best to accommodate your needs. Accommodations cannot be made at the time of the tour.

Almost. Our tour ends a few short blocks from our initial meeting point. Your tour guide will be happy to direct you back to the initial point.

Yes. All parking information as well as the exact meeting point will be provided after ticket purchase.

Unfortunately, wheelchairs are not recommended for the Historic Downtown Food Tour. Steps are involved in several tasting locations. As an alternative, a private tour for a minimum of 10 guests can be tailored to suit your needs. Please CLICK HERE for more information.

Yes. When you check in, your tour guide will provide you with restroom information for your tour. There are several restrooms along the way.

Yes. Snap away to your heart’s content. Post photos on your social media.  Audio and video recordings, however, are not permitted.

Gratuities are greatly appreciated. In the tour industry, 15%-20% is used as a guidelines.

Gratuities are also shared with wait staff.

Some of our locations offer a code or coupon when you have visited them on a Cape May Food Tour.  They would love for you to come back and  shop after your tour.

Yes. The wonderful thing about Cape May is that there is always something new to discover. Natives will hear many interesting stories about the owners and chefs of our tasting locations as well as fun facts about their beloved city.

Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not allowed on the tour. We welcome service dogs.
